Isaiah 2:1-5

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space to seek peace among the nations. You are here with us. You greet and welcome us into your prayer sanctuary. You invite us to take an inner journey to your home on your holy mountain. You open our eyes, hearts, and minds; we see creation around us. We are already in your house. We are already on your holy mountain.

Here we are, at the beginning of our Advent journey. Our world has experienced pandemics, wars, death, inflation, and global warming. We long for peace; we long for Jesus. The prophets of old tell us of your great love for us. With hopeful ears, we hear the invitation to walk in the light of the LORD. We begin this journey with anticipation of seeing and experiencing Jesus Christ in a new way.

I see with new eyes today, Loving Yahweh, and thank you for…

We wait for your perfect timing as we journey through this life. Make wars cease, Mighty LORD. Break the bows, and shatter the spears. Give us a glimpse of your perfect peace in our generation, when all nations will sing your praises.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
