1 Thessalonians 1:1-10

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space with the desire to be imitators of you. We may be persecuted by those who do not understand. But, in your presence we are surrounded by a wonderful community of believers. We feel encouraged to receive your word and teachings with joy.

In this holy time with you, Yahweh, we remember our friends, family, and community who are faithful to you and encourage us. Bless them with your loving favour, peace, and hope. May the joy of the Holy Spirit flow through them and us. Thank you, for your love brings strength, healing, and healthy relationships.

I receive your word with joy today, O LORD, and thank you for…

Be the song in our hearts and the joy in our voices, so your word will sound forth from us wherever we go. Bless all who hear us as we sojourn, so they will know and tell the story of your joy within us.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
