Sixteenth Week of Ordinary Time, Sunday, September 17, 2023
Loving Divine Family,
We pause under the Faith-marker of Fig Tree’s blossoms. Search us, and know our hearts. Test us, and know our thoughts. We struggle to remain faithful to you. We struggle to remain free from judging ourselves and others. In your sacred prayer space, you calm and reassure us. You remind us to focus on you alone. You invite us into your mystery, where you completely surround us.
Loving Creator, thank you for welcoming us with open arms. You call your Beloved people to be welcoming to others and to be a community of unity. Thank you, Jesus Christ, that your death and resurrection creates community across the boundaries of our differences. We will welcome one another with your love and overlook each other’s failings. We worship you, instead of judging others.
I participate in your mystery today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…
We desire to live for you, LORD. We desire to worship you. We lay our judgemental hearts at your feet and will follow you all our days.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
