Psalm 82:1-8

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space seeking you. We hear many messages from many sources throughout the day and night. People tell us that their household gods are better than you. Voices come to us in our dreams and stir doubts within us. But you welcome and embrace us. You say: “Can any other hold you like I do, heal you like I do, guide or provide for you like I do? Receive my love and find eternal peace and life with me.”

Loving Yahweh, hear the cries of our hearts. Defend and protect the poor, needy, and parentless. Destroy the gods and idols that hold us back from being who you created us to be. Arise, O God, we turn to you.

I receive your love today, Mighty LORD, and thank you for…

Be our guide throughout our days. Lighten our paths in the darkness of night. Push back the doubts and intruding thoughts so we can hear your voice and follow your ancient path together.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
