1 Peter 3:8-12

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space seeking your guidance. Others have done us wrong and taken from us. We have been ridiculed and taken advantage of. Ways of the world tell us to get payback and return an eye for an eye. In our own self-righteousness, we want restitution. But the ways of the world are not your ways. You embrace us and calm our thoughts.

We, your chosen beloved people, cherish our time with you. Thank you for the gift of community and teaching us etiquette for how to treat your creation and each other. Thank you for watching over us and listening to our prayers.

I receive your wise and peaceful guidance today, Loving Yahweh, and thank you for…

We follow your ancient ways by always looking to you and not at our circumstances. We will not fall into the clutches of the Deceiver by fighting for what we feel is rightfully ours. Bless the fruits of our labours, even when others have taken those fruits from us. Give us new strength to labour still, for the sake of your holy name. We seek to be an example for the next generations of how to live in peaceful communion with others under your guidance.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
