2 Samuel 7:1-17 (Living Bible) read by Mark Beingessner

2 Samuel 7:1-17

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space to give you our offerings. We desire to give you what we think you need. But you command our desires to be quiet in your presence. You remind us that all creation comes from you. Anything we want to give you is already yours. You call us instead to live in gratitude for all you have done for us. Your Holy Way is the way of praise and thanksgiving.

Thank you for being with us wherever we are and living with us. We love and adore you God. We long to show you how we love you. But what can we really do to show you? Thank you for taking delight in our desire to communicate our love for you.

I receive your guidance to walk in thanksgiving today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…

We journey with you in gratitude for all you have done for us. You instruct us to give generously to creation and each other in response to your unconditional love. We will journey in a good way on your path. We will give generously to others out of our gratitude.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
