Jeremiah 31:15-22

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space; our eyes still wet with tears from the hard journey through 2022. Grief, sorrow, hardship, and famine have been our companions on our journey. You wipe our tears with the edge of your holy robe. You remove our ragged, dirty clothes, and wrap your new robe around us. “You are my dear child, in whom I take great delight. I have also been your companion on your journey. I have brought you safely home.”

Thank you, Loving Yahweh, for remembering us and yearning for us. Thank you for your loving compassion. Thank you for the road signs and guideposts that lead us back home; lead us back to you.

I feel you wiping my tears today, Loving Yahweh, and thank you for…

We have faced great foes with you, O LORD; yet here we are! We have journeyed far together and have arrived home! Give us the strength to tell our stories so we will remember how you have journeyed with us. Our stories will be told throughout the generations.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
