1 Samuel 1:1-20

Loving Divine Family,

We marvel at your miraculous mysteries as we enter your sacred prayer space. We carry judgemental attitudes, assuming that others are not as enlightened or spiritual as we are. But we only expose our own sin and limits when we speak and act out of judgement. Quiet our sinful nature, so we will hear Life-giving Spirit guiding us.

Thank you for bestowing your grace and favour on us. Thank you for hearing our prayers of anguish and meeting us in our pain. Thank you for remembering us and answering our prayers.

I listen for Life-giving Spirit’s voice today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…

Open our ears and hearts, so we will see your miracles, hear your Spirit, and marvel at your mysteries. Equip us with clean hearts, so we will receive your blessings as we journey together on your Sacred Path.

With joy we praise you!
