Psalm 24:1-10

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, through your Ancient Gates. You are our King of Glory, strong and mighty. We were once on a dark path. We took the idols of others–gods that did not belong to us. But you broke our false gods before us. You brought us into your presence for your own sake.

Thank you for creating the earth and everything on the earth. Thank you for wanting to be a part of creation and wanting to spend time with us. We respond to the invitation to come to you with joyful hearts. We let go of the lies and anger so there is room to spend time with you.

I worship you alone today, Mighty God, and thank you for…

Break our idols before us; break the gates of the Intruder, who seeks to barricade us from you. Claim your victory over the death and darkness thrown at us by the Intruder. Remove the lies that the Intruder has spoken to us, so all we can hear is your victory song.

With joy we praise you!
