Hebrews 5:1-6

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space seeking your calling and desire for our lives. We love our own desires too. We long to do your will but do not want to let go of our own dreams. We see how you have called and blessed others and want what you have given them. You draw near to us and remind us that you call each of us according to your purpose. Your dream for us is to seek you and share our gifts with others.

Thank you, Divine Family, for giving us what we need. In your wisdom you gave us Jesus, your son, to be our high priest who offers gifts, prayers, and sacrifices on our behalf. Thank you, Jesus, for experiencing humanity and having compassion for us. Thank you, Jesus, for showing us how to express our love and devotion to the Divine Family. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for taking our prayers and intertwining them with your prayers so we can receive all the gifts and blessings you have in store for us.

I hear you calling me today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

How mysterious are your ways, LORD! You have called each of us according to your purpose and bless us each with the gifts we need to feed and care for your creation. We praise you for giving us each a purpose and a personal connection with you so we may draw near to you and receive your loving blessings.

With joy we praise you!
