Psalm 22:19-28 (New Living Translation) read by Mark Beingessner

Psalm 22:19-28

Loving Divine Family,

We gather at your Beautiful Gate, telling stories of your great love for us. Your love has rescued us from harm. Your strong arm has directed us away from danger. Throughout the generations, you have cleared the paths for us so we can now celebrate together in community. As we hear stories of your grace, mercy, and love, we become more aware of your presence with us each step of the way.

We, your people, come together to praise, honour, and revere you. You are our strength. You come to help us. Thank you for not hiding your face from us and for listening to us. Thank you, you are not disgusted with us. Thank you for the reassurance that “All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before [you].” (Psalm 22:27)

I realize your constant presence in my life today, Loving Yahweh, and thank you for…

Life-giving Spirit moves among us and we are compelled to shout your name. We join with the crowds in your courts praising your name and shouting thanksgiving.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
