Second Week in Lent, Thursday, March 9, 2023
Loving Divine Family,
We have grumbled against you, O Yahweh. We realize this completely when we enter your sacred prayer space. We have been impatient. We have tried to impose our own ideas and decrees upon you and each other. But you remind us of your love for us, your desire for a relationship with us.
Loving Yahweh, thank you for providing for our daily needs. Thank you for listening to us, even when we are complaining against you. Thank you for teaching us to be in a relationship with you and each other. May we never forget your loving presence and blessings. May we look to you.
I listen to your desire for relationship with me today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…
We think the only way to be comforted and comfortable is to return to our old ways. Praise to you, Yahweh, that you reveal your new way to us so our focus can be on the path to your glory and not to our old, destructive paths. Give us the manna and quail we need to remain with you and each other on this Lenten journey, so we will not seek to return to our old, hurtful ways.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
