Acts 27:1-12

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space fearful of rough seas ahead. We once placed our trust in people of authority who were ordained by human might to serve other humans. They led us into dangerous situations because they had no regard for you. But now we know we can trust your faithfulness.

Thank you that our circumstances go through your gate before they get to us. Thank you for leading and guiding us, even when it is through turbulence and heartache. Thank you for the kindness given to us, especially when it feels lost and death is all around us.

I trust your faithfulness today, O LORD, and thank you for…

In your care, O LORD, we will not fear the storms. We do not sail into rough seas unless we are following you. If we are following you, we will not fear, for you are with us. You are our God of all comfort.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
