Psalm 148:1-14 read by Mark Beingessner

Psalm 148:1-14

Loving Divine Family,

By your divine guidance, we enter your sacred prayer space today, singing praises to you alone. All creation sings around us. Grandfather Sun and the waxing of Grandmother Moon call all creatures to attention. Trees send forth their buds in this new season. Pollinators wake in the warmth of spring. All manner of creatures sing songs to you in the morning.

We, your beloved people, join with all creation, nature, and heavenly beings to sing your praises. You created us and this world. It is beyond comprehension how we are interconnected and linked together. You thought of sharing your life-giving breath with us and created the perfect environment for us to live and thrive. The lightning can destroy and be scary, but is necessary to provide nutrients for the soil. Praise to you, Creator of the Universe.

I join creation’s song of praise to you today, Loving Creator, and thank you for…

All that has life and breath place complete trust in you, LORD. You bring all things into being. Nothing happens except by your divine providence. We will praise you all of our days, throughout the generations.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
