Ascension of the LORD, Thursday, May 26, 2022

Acts 1:1-11

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space seeking an intimate relationship with you. You find us here, and we express our fears to you. We are afraid of loss and loneliness. What if you leave us, and those whom we love are lost to us? We don’t want to walk this path alone. But you remind us of your promise to never leave us. You remind us that even when Jesus was lifted to heaven, angels were there to encourage the disciples. Life-giving Spirit came to bring new hope to the people.

We breathe in your holy breath that gives life and breathe out your love. Thank you for the mysterious clouds that protect us and remind us of your blessings and presence while we wait. Abba Father and Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit who gently speaks love, kindness and gentleness, and who guides us.

I feel your presence with me today, LORD, and thank you for…

We stay together in your holy courts, within your Beautiful Gate. We work, worship, and wait together. We find great comfort that we are not alone, but are living and learning together within a community of your chosen people. All praise to you, Wonderful Creator!

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
