1 Samuel 1:1-18

Loving Divine Family,

Early in the morning, you greet us with your joy and peace. In our sorrow and longing, we cry out to you. Hear our cries as we enter the sanctuary of your sacred prayer space. You draw close to us. You bring wise Elders and Water Carriers to our aid. Life-giving Spirit is in our midst, bringing messages of hope and encouragement.

We, your beloved Creation, look to you, our God. We take our eyes off our circumstances and look to you; for you are with us in the mess of our lives.  Thank you, your favour and grace are for all. You are our place of peace; we gratefully receive your peace for ourselves.

I give you the cries of my heart today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

Take our prayers. Carry them on the wings of your Spirit to the lofty heights of your Holy Mountain. Join our cries with the prayers of our ancestors, and remember us. We will also remember to remember your generosity in our lives, and we will give thanks for answered prayers.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
