Psalm 23:1-6

Psalm 23 read by Mark Beingessner (New English Translation)

Loving Divine Family,

How wondrous are your ways, LORD! You welcome us into your sacred prayer space to walk and talk with us. You invite us to pause, to selah. You remind us to play the rests, to intentionally lie down and feel your presence. And after we have rested you invite us to eat and drink with you. We dine on the fruits and spiritual water you set before us. In your wisdom, you restore us for the next step of our journey.

Thank you, Jehovah-Rohi (the Lord is my Shepherd), for leading and guiding us on our journey. You provide companionship, rest, food, and refreshing water. You protect us from harm. We sing your praises.

I feel refreshed in your presence today, Mighty Yahweh, and thank you for…

We rest and dine with each other and with you, Loving Yahweh. This place with you, this sacred space, is all we need for our journey. Return us to this resting place each day as we walk with you on your path.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
