Daniel 9:15-19

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, bearing your name and image. As we recall where we have journeyed this past liturgical year, we confess to you that we have been in bondage to sin. But you have rescued us, time and again. You have lifted us and set us once again upon your good path. Your love and mercy have helped us endure.

We, your humble servants, come to spend time with you. Thank you, loving, merciful Yahweh, for hearing our prayers and petitions. Thank you for looking upon us with favour. We are grateful that you forgive us; you hear us and you act accordingly.

I receive your forgiveness today, loving merciful Yahweh, and thank you for…

Although we have sinned, you have not turned your anger towards us. You have withheld your punishment from us. Your grace, mercy, and love have never ceased. You have pursued us with all your love. Remain near to us, we pray. Be our strong tower, our shield, and our defender.

With joy we praise you!
