1 Peter 5:1-5, 12-14

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space as your children–Elders, shepherds, and sheep of your flock. You provide your guidance to us through Christ’s example, your word, and communities of believers. You call us to humble ourselves to your teachings, so we will honour you and each other in all we do.

Loving Yahweh, you care for us and call us to care for those who you have entrusted to us. With eager hearts, we consider it joy to watch over and care for others. We humble ourselves, so we live in harmony and unity within your community. Peace be with your creation.

I give myself to your teachings today, Loving Yahweh, and thank you for…

Give us ears to hear and a depth of understanding, so we will honour your Elders, shepherds, and all who we greet among your creation. Press your lips to ours, so our words will remain true to you, and our songs will be beautiful offerings.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
