Twentieth Week of Ordinary Time, Thursday, October 19, 2023
Loving Divine Family,
We enter your sacred prayer space. Only you are the one true God. Many have created their own household gods. We have all sought peace and joy from empty idols. But you, LORD, are our peace and strong fortress. You are our refuge and strength.
We join with creation singing your praises Yahweh. You care for us and provide for us. You are merciful, gracious, and slow to anger. Thank you, we bless you by telling of your mighty deeds. It brings us great joy to worship you.
I praise you for your glorious love today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…
Blessed are you, LORD. In your loving mercy, you have protected and sustained us. Blessed are we, for your love endures forever. Be our joy and peace in our troubles. Prepare us to journey on your Sacred Path. Ready our hearts for trials of this life and the glory of the life which is to come.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
