We desire your instruction, which leads to wisdom. We are surrounded by true and false prophets who claim to teach your wisdom. It is sometimes difficult to discern truth from lies. But in your sacred prayer space, you invite us to hear your voice and listen to your word. You remind us that your voice can be heard when your prophets speak, and we should get accustomed to your voice.

We have journeyed so far with you already. You, LORD, are our Shepherd and our hiding place. You have stayed with us and sheltered us from storms and harm. We find shelter once again, in your sacred prayer space. We hear your voice and feel your peace.

Loving God, we cry out to you for salvation; hear our prayer. We are helpless, suffering, and we turn to you. You are faithful; you fulfil your word. Save us; heal us.

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for helping us to pray. We hear the invitation to grow by living lives of faith and intentionally loving you. We are blessed by your mercy and love. Thank you for giving us joy.

We will encourage and lift others in all we say and do. We will rejoice and give thanks in all circumstances, knowing that what seems impossible to us is already conquered by you.

We enter your sacred prayer space at your invitation. You have invited us to draw near to you so many times. We are not always open to your call. Too many times, we have withdrawn, trying desperately to hide from you. We are sometimes not prepared to draw near. But by your grace, we are here. By your mercy, you receive us as we are.
