Genesis 39:1-23

Loving Divine Family,

You have entrusted so much to us. You have placed us as caretakers of your creation and sojourners with each other. Although we have so much, and you provide for our every need, we are tempted by the Deceiver to take more from you, and disrespect you and others.

Thank you, Divine Family, that your favour is upon us and you look upon us with delight. “Though the arrogant have smeared [us] with lies, [we] keep your precepts with all [our hearts]” (NIV, Psalm 119:69). Your ways are not our ways. Although we do not understand our circumstances, we are grateful that you are with us, guiding us. Thank you for those who are kind to us and grant us favour. We remove our eyes from our circumstances and look to you.

I contemplate all you have provided for me today, Loving Yahweh, and thank you for…

The Deceiver seeks to separate us from you and destroy us. But you know the Deceiver’s plan. Even in our darkest times, you are with us. Give us strength to resist the Deceiver’s temptations and first seek you and your wisdom.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
