Psalm 146:1-10

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space with praise in our hearts. You have shown us what is good–to follow you and give freely to others. Society tells us to acquire more, become wealthier, and let others fend for themselves. But you love when we follow your ways, trust in you, and take care of others. We are surrounded by those who are weak, poor, sick, foreigners and refugees, orphans and lonely. You call us to pay attention to your instructions.

Maker of heaven and earth, thank you for the gift of life and the gift of your creation. We are filled with joy because we place our hope in you. We are blessed because you are our help, provider, and God. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

I hear you calling me to trust you and help others today, Loving Yahweh, and thank you for…

You are our sovereign LORD. We will follow you all of our days. We will seek you in this sacred space and in community. We will see the needs of others through your eyes. We will feel compelled to help. We will listen for your voice and walk in your ways. Lead us, LORD, and we will follow.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
