Esther 1:1-21

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space seeking your forgiveness and wisdom. We have not always acted in good character. We have placed ourselves above others and have been unjust. We have abused our power and inheritance. Draw close to us. Forgive us and set us on your good path.

Loving Yahweh, we look to you. You hear our cries against injustice and gender-based violence. We feel helpless, as we experience pain and injustice. We move our attention from looking at the complexities of our brokenness to the pure broken heart of Jesus Christ who leads us to your mercy, grace, and love. It is here, we know we are your Beloved.

I seek your forgiveness and wisdom today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

Remove from us the temptations of the Deceiver that would have us take advantage of the privileges and positions you have blessed us with. Replace our impulsiveness with a humble heart and spirit of servitude, so we will always be a blessing to you, creation, and each other.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
