Psalm 20:1-9
May the LORD answer you in times of trouble.
May the God of Jacob protect you.
May [the LORD] send you help from [the LORD’s] Temple
and support you from Mount Zion.
May [the LORD] remember all your offerings
    and accept all your sacrifices.

May [the LORD] give you what you want
and make all your plans succeed,
and we will shout for joy when you succeed,
and we will raise a flag in the name of our God.
May the Lord give you all that you ask for.

Now I know the LORD helps [the LORD’s] appointed king.
[The LORD] answers him from [the LORD’s] holy heaven
and saves him with [the LORD’s] strong right hand.
Some trust in chariots, others in horses,
but we trust the LORD our God.
They are overwhelmed and defeated,
but we march forward and win.
LORD, save the king!
Answer us when we call for help.

Loving Divine Family,

From near and far we call to you; O LORD, hear our voice. From the four directions we seek you; O LORD, answer our call. You are our Creator, Shepherd and Protector; come quickly to our aid. Cover us with your mercy. In the shelter of your wings, we will sing your praises, O LORD.

We pause and spend time with you, our God, our King. We hear and see the chaos of war and pain all around us. In this moment, we create the space to hear you saying, “I love you. You are my beloved.” We are so grateful you are with us in the good and bad times. Thank you for the help and support.

I rest in the shelter of your wings today, O LORD, and thank you for…

You are the giver of all our dreams and desires, O LORD. All good things come from you. Move within each of us and greet us with all we need for this day. Be within and around us, all-powerful.

With joy we praise you!
