Jeremiah 1:4-10

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space and hear you call out to us. You invite us to remove our shoes in this holy space and listen to your instruction. You remind us of the gifts you placed within us when you chose us; the purpose to which you called us long ago. We have doubts. We doubt our own abilities and influence. But we feel Life-giving Spirit wrap us, hold us, and breathe into us.

Thank you, LORD, for creating us and setting us apart for you. You are with us. We lay aside our complaints, anger, and fear, so we can hear you. Word of God, speak, we are listening.

I receive Life-giving Spirit’s breath today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…

Shine your light upon this Ancient Path, O Yahweh. Show us the way, and we will follow you. Thank you for putting your words in our hearts, minds, and mouths. Be in the heart of each of whom we speak and in the mouth of each who speaks unto us. Thank you, we are a part of your plan to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant. May we journey well today and greet each other in a good way. We will create faith-markers in this holy place, where you revealed your wisdom to us.

With joy we praise you!
