Genesis 45:25-46:7

Loving Divine Family,

We gather at Beersheba, the Faith-maker of our ancestors. You made wondrous promises to those who have gone before us, promises to prosper them and not to harm them. They followed your guidance with fierce faith that you would lead them in a good way. Your promises have remained true and have been fulfilled to our present generation.

Yahweh, you hear us, and answer us. You create the space for us to ask questions and learn of your love. You direct and lead us in community and family, so we do not journey alone.

I recall your promises to my ancestors today, Mighty God, and thank you for…

Come to us in our dreams, O Great Mystery. Speak gently to us, so we will not fear you. Come to us in our waking hours, so we will not fall away from your guidance. Walk with us as we journey from Beersheba, so we will have you as our constant, faithful companion.

With joy we praise you!
