Ephesians 4:17-5:2

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space with joy and thanksgiving. You have shown us what is good. You have provided guidance for healthy living. As we spend time together with you, we celebrate that you have created safe spaces for us to practise the loving ways you teach us.

God of Love, thank you for the invitation to live a life of love, healing, and purpose. In our small-minded attitude, moments of anger, bitterness, slander and other negative behaviour and attitudes give us false sense of pleasure. In reality, these attitudes bring hate, sickness, disillusion, and division. We let go and put our minds on you. We are grateful we are created in your image. It brings us joy and peace pondering your goodness and loving presence with us. We walk the good path of love.

I choose to follow your teachings for healthy living today, O LORD, and thank you for…

We once made decisions for our own sake. But you have taught us your new way. We put off our old ways to follow you. Give us your spirit of truth, honesty, and kindness. Give us your spirit of forgiveness, so we will not store-up bitterness or anger towards others. We will follow your ways and journey together in a good way.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
