Proverbs 8:4-21 (The Voice) read by Mark Beingessner

Proverbs 8:4-21

Loving Divine Family,

Your wisdom is water for our souls, healing balm for our wounds, nourishment for our weary bodies. In your wisdom you have provided Water Carriers who speak new birth, peace, strength and wisdom into our communities. Your Elders teach us your ways. Your Knowledge Keepers share ancient wisdom with us. You invite us to participate in your mystery, to listen and learn, and to throw off our foolish ways so your wisdom will guide us.

We, your people, hear the call of wisdom, choose to look to and respond to wisdom, and live by wisdom. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for guiding us with skills for living. May we continue to search for and follow your instructions. May we discern and obey your voice.

I hear your invitation to receive your wisdom today, Loving Yahweh, and thank you for…

We love you, Yahweh. We seek your truth and righteousness in our lives. As we walk your path together, we will reject evil thoughts and actions so we can greet each other in a good way. Your ways are pure, fair, and just. Teach us your ways so our days will be long and fruitful upon the earth.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
