1 Samuel 2:18-21

Loving Divine Family,

Blessed be your name, LORD, for you give and take according to your will. We enter your sacred prayer space. In your presence–in this Holy Sanctuary–we realize that everything makes sense. We ask for what we want; we share with you our heart’s desires. You respond by blessing us, exceedingly and abundantly.

Thank you, Yahweh, your grace is sufficient for us. Thank you, your favour is upon us, your beloved people. You hear the cries of our hearts and answer us. Thank you that our personal prayers not only bless us but others as well. We cannot even comprehend. Hear our prayers, and use them to bless others. For nothing is impossible for you.

I receive more from you than I expect today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

Bless us with the grace of years, O LORD, so we will see the fruits of our labours. We believe we will see your mercies in the land of the living. Even as we experience losses amidst the blessings, we will proclaim, “The LORD gives, and the LORD takes away; blessed be the name of the LORD!”

With joy we praise you!
