Ezekiel 1:26-2:1

Ezekiel 1:26-2:1 read by Mark Beingessner (New Living Translation)

Loving Divine Family,

We look for you in the morning, in the rising of the sun. You greet us there and we are amazed. We see your majesty in all things as your light covers the landscape. We are overcome by your light and your glory. We feel Life-giving Spirit washing over us like waves and are astonished by your great-ness and our small-ness. You look upon us with a parent’s love, a Creator’s adoration. You speak to each of us as your precious children.

Your love and majesty fill this space. In awe, we humble ourselves, so we can hear you. Thank you, Yahweh, for going to great measures to get our attention and wanting us to work with you.

I rise at your calling today, LORD, and thank you for…

Speak and we shall listen, Mighty Yahweh. We pause on this plateau, upon this resting place, to hear your wisdom. We are but a moment; you are eternal. Give us ears to hear in this present time. Give us wise Elders and guides so we will listen to your ways and step with faith upon your path.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
