Psalm 84:8-12 (from the King James Version) read by Mark Beingessner

Psalm 84:8-12

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, with love and joy in our hearts. You have been faithful to fulfil your promises to us throughout the generations. We draw near to hear you tell the stories of our ancestors—their journeys and how they learned to place their trust in you. They chose their journey, but you chose them first. You blessed them for their faithfulness.

Thank you, Loving Yahweh, for hearing our prayers, listening to us, and looking with favour on us. You are our light and protection. We, your blessed children, sing with joyful hearts: “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere” (Better is One Day, Matt Redman).

I choose to journey with you today, O Yahweh, and thank you for…

Protect us from the ways of the wicked. Give us your strength to withstand the temptations and invitations to dwell in the tents of the wicked. Be with our Elders and leaders, and give them your visions so we can follow and trust in you. We place our trust in you today.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
