James 2:14-26

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space with the faith that you have prepared everything for us in advance. The veil between worlds seems thin–physical and spiritual beings embrace and comfort us. We feel called to enter into ceremony with you. Be the smoke in our pipes, the breath in our songs, the flame in our candles.

Gracious God, thank you for this holy precious time with you. Thank you for creating the space for us to learn more about you. We hear the invitation to live lives of love through both our words and actions. May we show hospitality, mercy, and faith that will encourage others to live a life of faith.

I place all my trust in you today, O LORD, and thank you for…

We focus on our tasks and plans for the coming days, weeks, and months. But you, LORD, are preparing us for eternity. Give us the faith to let go of all our busy actions, so we can know you more and worship you.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
