1 John 5:1-5, 13-21

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, bowing our hearts and bending our knees to you. We have gathered and harvested and benefited from places and people where we should not have journeyed. We have created false idols and turned from you. We admit to ourselves and to you, Yahweh Elohim (Creator), that we have strayed. We now cast our idols at your feet and return our eyes to you.

We, your children, believe that Jesus is the Christ, who is born of God. We love you, Abba Father, Jesus Christ, son of God, and Life-giving Spirit. Thank you, your commands are not a heavy burden, but your commands bring about life and bring us into relationship with you. Thank you for overcoming the world.

I feel your healing forgiveness today, O God of Jacob, and thank you for…

Cleanse and purify us, O Yahweh. Hear our prayers and desires for ourselves and others as we cry to you. Throw your mercy around us, a robe of pure forgiveness and mercy. Keep our eyes from idols and false teachings. We seek to follow you all of our days.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
