Colossians 3:1-11

Loving Divine Family,

Praise to you, Saviour! You count us among your family, co-heirs with you in the Kingdom of Glory. You invite us into your sacred prayer space. We come as we are, covered in the filth of the ways of folly. We give you all our imperfections. Take from us these ragged garments, and replace them with your garments of praise.

We look to you, Jesus Christ, son of God, by setting our hearts and minds on you. Thank you, we are hidden in you, Christ Jesus, in God. We put to death sexual immorality, lust, evil, and greed. We get rid of anger, rage, malice, and slander. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for speaking words of encouragement and love so that we can walk in our new selves.

I accept your new clothes today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

The desire of our hearts is to worship you and give you honour. Give us endurance, so we will wear your garments and run the race you have called us to. We will sojourn upon your Ancient Path in a good way.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
