Hosea 10:9-15 (Living Bible) read by Mark and Connie Beingessner

Hosea 10:9-15

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space carrying the guilt of our sins and of past generations. We have been taught to live by the letter of your law. We should surely burn in your furnace like the chaff of harvest. Yet, here we are, invited into your presence and embraced in your loving, strong arms. You choose to not mark our iniquities. We are marked only with your love.

O loving Yahweh, thank you for the invitation to soften our souls and sow righteousness. Thank you for your unfailing Love and the harvest of your blessings. May we each day be dependent on you and only you, for you are our help and salvation. May we leave behind our stubborn independent ways that lead to destruction.

I feel your loving embrace around me today, O Creator, and thank you for…

Your forgiveness covers the earth and all creation. We will walk in righteousness and plant the seeds for the new season. Those who follow us will reap the fruit of your unfailing love. We will seek you now, O LORD, and in the generations to come.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
