Thirteenth Week After Pentecost, Wednesday, August 21, 2024
Loving Divine Family,
We enter your sacred prayer space, feeling familiar with your teachings. At times, we think we understand what you are teaching us, and jump ahead of you with our assumptions. Your correction is swift and stern, but also loving and gentle. You draw us back to your presence, so we can understand more fully the meaning and impact of your teachings.
God of Love, you give the gift of life and breath. You bless us and then we forget you are the Bread of Life and Giver of good gifts. In this quiet sacred space, we listen to you say, “I love you.” Thank you for your patience with us for we easily forget how you provide and take care of us.
I return to you today, Loving Teacher, and thank you for…
We have participated in the great mystery of your miracles. We see and believe you are our Messiah. Do not withhold your holiness from us. Feed us your living bread, so we will live forever. Send us, but stay with us, so we will faithfully show others your miraculous, mysterious ways.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
