Isaiah 49:13-23

Loving Divine Family,

We gather at your Beautiful Gate with the community of believers. We come to praise you for your awesome deeds. Your light has come! Your ear has been pressed to our lips throughout the generations. You have heard our cries. You told our ancestors to take comfort, that their darkness was for just a little while longer. Now, your time has come!

O God of comfort and joy, you care for us, your children. Thank you, your compassion is unending, and your comfort restores us and brings us peace. Thank you for engraving our names on your palms. Thank you for remembering to remember us, your children, your creation. We sing for joy.

I receive your comfort today, O LORD, and thank you for…

We hear your trumpets sound through the city; throughout the wilderness, we hear your call. Life-giving Spirit moves among us and declares: “Rise, for your light has come!” Your banner is over us. Your flag is raised on the highest mountain, your Holy Mountain. Spirit calls to us: “The LORD is in his temple! Blessed be the name of the LORD!” We respond: “Thanks be to God!”

With joy we praise you!
