Sixth Week of Ordinary Time, Wednesday, July 12, 2023
Loving Divine Family,
In the safety of your sacred prayer space, you turn your face toward us and expose the filth of the wilderness within us. We betray you in our own ways, by what we think, do, and by what we do not do. Yet, you choose to clean us and give us a new purpose. We try to understand with human logic, but your ways are not our ways. You invite us to listen and learn from you, and to participate in your mystery.
Loving Yahweh, thank you for this precious time with you. Thank you for leading by example. You care for our needs in a loving manner and then invite us to do the same for others. Thank you for the gift of relationship with you and hospitality.
I seek to learn from you today, O LORD, and thank you for…
Give us wise mentors and Elders for our journey. Fill them with your wisdom and compassion, so we will see you working within them. Give us the discipline to not run ahead or think we know it all. Give us ears to hear.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
