“Mark 9:14-29 (Good News Translation)” by Connie Beingessner.

Mark 9:14-29

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, seeking your deliverance. We are tormented and have tried our human-made methods to gain relief. Religions tell us to believe more, sacrifice more, and pray harder. But all we do is according to our human understanding. You surround us, and we are instantly redeemed to you.

We are weak and feeble and sometimes forget you. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Help us with our unbelief. Thank you everything is possible for those who believe.

I return to you today, Loving Redeemer, and thank you for…

Keep us in your presence, so we will be surrounded by your peace and power. Give us wisdom to understand your ways of prayer, so we will come to you with songs of joy for your deliverance.

With joy we praise you!
