John 5:1-18

Loving Divine Family,

We gather in the shelter of Bethesda’s Colonnades. We seek the stirring of Life-giving Spirit in your holy waters. We are surrounded by your community. We experience your spiritual waters together, and receive the blessing of your healing touch.

Thank you, Loving God, for healing us out of your compassion. You hear our need, even when we do not express it. Thank you for healing us, even when we do not acknowledge you and say thank you. May we, today, when asked “do you want to be healed,” say “yes, please,” and not make excuses to why we are not healed. With thankful hearts, may we praise and glorify you.

I receive your complete healing today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

We feel the touch of your healing hands upon us. We feel strong and refreshed. Give us courage to step forward on your sacred path, not looking back to the way things used to be. We release the old ways to you, and move off the threshold we are on, so we can receive all you have in store for us.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
