Third Week in Lent, Wednesday, March 15, 2023
Loving Divine Family,
We enter your sacred prayer space from where we are on our Lenten Journey. You meet us and invite us to selah, and to listen. You reveal our brokenness, our frailty, our impulse to hurt you and others. Your words shake us; and we question your judgement, and blurt out: “Surely, not us, LORD.” We feel ashamed, but, at the same time, desire to please you, to bring you honour, instead of hurt you.
Loving Yahweh, we long for a relationship with you. Thank you for the gift of Life-giving Spirit, who fills us with your love and meets our needs.
I receive Life-giving Spirit’s gifts today, O LORD, and thank you for…
Reveal the obstacles along our paths as we journey together. Illumine our landscapes and fields, and give us strength, courage, and wisdom to persevere and greet each other in a good way. We seek to honour you with all our hearts.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
