Luke 2:25-38

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space with longing in our hearts. You have laid your word and purpose within us. We worship and wait for you to fulfil your promises as we do your work. These times in your sanctuary fill us with peace. We look for nothing but your peaceful presence.

Thank you, Loving Yahweh, for hearing our prayers and preparing our hearts. You give us grace and your favour so we can give peace and hope to others. Thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit leading and prompting us to see and know you. Thank you for prophets and prophetesses who help us to know you and turn to you, so we can see you smiling on us.

I dwell in your holy sanctuary with you today, LORD, and thank you for…

In this community you share your wisdom and visions with us. Wise Elders, Knowledge Keepers and Water Carriers surround us; they come to us with messages from you. You speak to us of your many promises; we are filled with gladness. We look for the fulfilment of your promises in our lives and in the generations to come.

With joy we praise you!
