Proverbs 16:21-33

Loving Divine Family,

Your guidance brings wisdom and peace. We are challenged on all sides to follow folly. We feel tempted to defend ourselves and others, to lash out in anger. We feel tempted to force our assumptions and agendas. But with you, in your sacred prayer space, you repair our hurtful attitudes. You protect us from these temptations and provide a path of peace.

Loving Divine Family, your words bring life and peace. Thank you for the instructions to think before we speak. May our words and actions bring peace and healing to ourselves and others.

I see your path of peace for me today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

Stir within us with your Life-giving Spirit. Be in our breath, so our words will be sweet as honey, bringing healing to all who listen. Keep us from ways of evil, so we will sojourn well together and greet each other in a good way.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
