You watch over us in your vineyard. You water and nourish us, guarding us from harm. Breathe your life into us, so we will sing about your fruitful vineyard and tell others of your loving ways.

We focus on our tasks and plans for the coming days, weeks, and months. But you, LORD, are preparing us for eternity. Give us the faith to let go of all our busy actions, so we can know you more and worship you.

We enter your sacred prayer space as your children– chosen and called by name, we come to you. We are hard-pressed on all sides; yet, here we are. We have persevered. We count our successes like diamonds in our hands. You gather us in, revealing to us that it is only by your grace that we are still standing.

Lift us, LORD, out of the mire of self-righteousness. Fill us with your perfect love, so we will live honourably upon this earth. Walk with us as we journey on your Ancient Path, so we will enter your gates with thanksgiving and rejoicing.

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for helping us to pray. We hear the invitation to grow by living lives of faith and intentionally loving you. We are blessed by your mercy and love. Thank you for giving us joy.

We have journeyed so far with you already. You, LORD, are our Shepherd and our hiding place. You have stayed with us and sheltered us from storms and harm. We find shelter once again, in your sacred prayer space. We hear your voice and feel your peace.
