Psalm 73:21-28

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space as we are. We have good and bad days. We rage and feel bitter about the injustices of the world around us. We sometimes wonder why arrogant people prosper. But you remind us of your promise to us. You count us among your righteous. Our destiny is not the destiny of arrogance.

We have lashed out and thrown temper tantrums out of anger, fear, jealousy, greed, and doubt. We have harmed ourselves and others as a result. Thank you for being by our side, holding us close to you, and waiting patiently for us to turn to you and receive your love, calmness, and peace. Thank you for your present strength and for never abandoning us.

I remain with you in your sanctuary today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

Give us courage, so we will remove our masks that hide the darkness within us. Shine within us, so all our dark desires and secrets are exposed to you. Remove our dark desires, and replace them with your truth, honesty and integrity.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
