Ecclesiastes 5:1-20

Loving Divine Family,

We remove our shoes as we enter your sacred prayer space. You remind us of the holiness of your sanctuary. We feel humbled in your presence. Any words we want to say fall to the earth as they depart our mouths. You break our foolish thoughts before us. Only your perfect air surrounds us. Life-giving Spirit carries your words to our ears.

We draw near to you to hear your words of love, instructions, and blessings. We still our hearts and minds, so we may focus on you, Loving Yahweh.  In the silence, we become aware of your majesty and awesomeness. You humble us. May our praises bring us in alignment with you.

I stand muted as I listen in your presence today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

What can we bring you, LORD? What can we offer to you in return for your generosity? You give freely to us, yet demand nothing. We will return your generosity with gratitude. Turn our gratitude to joyful giving as you send us out. Journey with us and guard our motives, so our giving to others will be with the right hearts.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
