Joel 2:18-29

Loving Divine Family,

We gather in your courts, at your Beautiful Gate, singing songs of thanksgiving to you. Your promises are true. You have kept up your promises to us; you prepare the earth in season to receive your seeds and nourishment; you bring forth bumper crops that are enough to feed and sustain all creation. You fill us with new hope; Life-giving Spirit fills us. Elders share wisdom; Water Carriers birth new dreams for our community. All of these blessings burst forth from you.

We hear your reassurance not to be afraid and to know you; Loving God, you are with us. We sing your praises with joyful hearts. Only you can repay the years the locusts have eaten. Thank you for a new way of doing things. Thank you for the new grain, new wine, and new olive oil. Thank you for pouring out your Spirit on us.

I am surrounded by your blessings today, Loving Yahweh, and thank you for…

Just as you have promised, you are pouring out your Spirit upon us. We rejoice in your goodness and in the wonders of your glory. We are drawn into your mystery as you make us new. New beginnings, new purpose, new visions!

With joy, we praise you!
