1 Corinthians 2:12-16 (from The Voice) read by Mark Beingessner

1 Corinthians 2:12-16

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space seeking you. You have searched us, and you know us. Even before we arrive, you have been waiting for us. It is a daily struggle for us to walk in the world; yet, we hold fast to your calling. We come to you once again so we can hear your voice and feel the touch of Life-giving Spirit. You speak to us with understanding that is beyond words. Only by the Holy Spirit can we hear and understand your call for us.

Thank you, Loving Yahweh, for leading us on a good path. Thank you for the gifts of peace and discernment that guide us. Thank you that we are the pleasing aroma of Christ to you. May our presence bring others to you, and may they know they are loved.

I hear your call for me today, O LORD, and thank you for…

You reveal all things to us in your perfect timing through the Holy Spirit. We do not know what you know, but, with faith, we listen to your voice and instruction for the day. Give us faith and perseverance, wisdom, and compassion to walk your path today, so we may greet each other in a good way.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
