We will remain in your house, LORD. We will dwell in safety and will not be afraid anymore. Bless the words of our lips, our thoughts, and our actions, so we will greet each other in a good way.
We will remain in your house, LORD. We will dwell in safety and will not be afraid anymore. Bless the words of our lips, our thoughts, and our actions, so we will greet each other in a good way.
Faithful loving God, you are in the mess of our lives, the mix, and in our midst. Thank you for this sacred time with you, when we can share our thoughts and feelings. Thank you for the people in our lives who listen to us so we can see you, and who do not judge us or speak lies about you. We look to you for comfort and relief.
We enter your sacred prayer space, this place where you live and where your glory dwells. Our eyes are often drawn to the actions of those who do not trust in you. They entice us, tempting us to wander with them and to follow their ways of folly. We admit that sometimes we are overtaken by temptation.
Today, we invite you to reread, rest, and reflect on the prayers of the past week.

Nineteenth Week After Pentecost, Friday, October 4, 2024 Romans 8:1-11 Loving Divine Family, We seek your face as we enter…
Thank you for this sacred time with you, Divine Family, where we can hear your truth. Thank you, all who belong in Christ Jesus are your children who share equally in the inheritance of your promises. You call us to live as your heirs, to live lives of faith that reveal your love for creation.
Your decrees are eternal, O LORD. We will never again need to wear clothes of grief. Burn our sackcloths before us, so we will not return to ways of fear or helplessness. We will walk with faith and confidence upon your Ancient Path for all our days.
We journey on your Ancient Path because of your infinite pleasure and delight for us. Your perfect plan will not delay; your love for us will not fade. We will fear no evil, for you are with us. Even death will not separate us from your wondrous love.
Loving Yahweh, we look to you; you open our eyes to see the committee of faith surrounding and supporting us. Thank you for not abandoning us. We join together praying to you for life and safety. Thank you, we are where we are for such a time as this. May we remain true to you and step in faith working together as the Body of Christ.
We gather together in an ascent to your sacred prayer space. We sing as we come to you songs of our ancestors throughout the generations. Before we knew you, even when we did not acknowledge you, your blessings and protection showered upon us. We see you smiling towards us as we praise you.
