O LORD, our God, we take comfort knowing you hear us crying out to you. Thank you for your forgiveness and generous love. We patiently wait to hear you speak. We put our hope in you. You never fail us.

We journey together towards the destination you have revealed to us. Using our human logic and tools, we find the way to be difficult. You see us struggling and draw close to us. We call out to you; you come into our circumstances and calm our fears.

Remain with us as we journey. Give us the courage to leap into deep waters, when you tell us it is time to move. Give us safe passage, when we are weak and need your help. Lead us safely to our destination, so we will tell the stories of your blessings and salvation, now and through all generations.

Bread of Life, you are with us in the storms. Thank you for the guides you send us, who encourage us to have courage and determination because you are with us. Thank you for your messengers of faith, who are your spokespersons, reminding us to take care of ourselves and follow your instructions.

We gather together in boats; in your presence, we journey with you towards your intended destination. We see the danger of the storms around us and become fearful. We call out to you; you invite us into your sacred prayer space, where we can hear your voice. You bring peace in the chaos, reminding us that nothing can prevent your will from being fulfilled.
