Galatians 5:16-26

Loving Divine Family,

How sweet it is to walk with you along your Ancient Path past the Faith-markers of our ancestors and through meadows and vineyards. Your garden is rich with everything we could ever need or want. You prepared everything in advance for us, to feed our spirits.

You know our thoughts and hearts. We harbour anger, hatred, jealousy, and selfishness. We worship other gods and participate in actions that break our connection to you. The law shows no mercy or compassion. We do not want to be under the law; we want to follow you. Thank you for pruning us, for removing the dead growth. Thank you Life Giving Spirit for gently caring and tending to us. So we can produce love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self control.

I am full of your wonderful fruits today, Jehovah Jireh (God who Provides), and thank you for…

Protect us from the flames when we walk through fires for your name’s sake. Give us courage, so we will resist temptations thrown at us by the Deceiver. May every decision we make, and every road we take, lead us back to you.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
